Every time we talk about cutting taxes, the establishment asks the same question:
“How will you pay for it?”
Our answer: Smarter government. Local revenue. Bold innovation.
Under Jason S. Arnold’s leadership, we will reform New York’s broken revenue model by replacing burdensome taxation with growth-driven, people-first policies.
OUR PLAN TO FUND FREEDOM:
1. Tourism-Driven Revitalization
• Coney Island 2.0 – Turn Coney Island into a regulated Vegas/Atlantic City-style attraction with casinos, boardwalk resorts, and 24/7 entertainment.
• Hudson Valley Wine & Culture Trail – A state-backed tourism corridor supporting local farms, vineyards, and artists.
• Upstate Outdoor Investment Zones – Encourage outdoor adventure tourism and private lodge development to create long-term revenue for rural communities.
2. Operation Ghost Town
• Lease vacant state buildings (jails, schools, and offices) to private organizations for use as:
– Trade schools
– Detox & rehab centers
– Veteran housing
– Small business incubators
– Homeschool & co-op hubs
• All lease revenue goes directly to education, mental health, and local infrastructure.
3. State Land Sales & Lease Auctions
• End foreign land ownership — reclaim and auction land to New Yorkers and veteran-owned businesses.
• Lease public lands for responsible development, with royalties reinvested in infrastructure and education.
4. Corporate Relocation Incentives (modeled after Texas & Florida)
• Attract out-of-state companies with zero income tax zones, low regulation districts, and workforce grants tied to hiring New Yorkers.
• Replace income tax with job growth, property value increases, and business license revenue.
5. Retail Sales Reform
• Phase out tax on groceries and essential goods, funded by expanding luxury and tourism sales tax in high-income areas.
• Encourage local manufacturing and “Made in New York” product lines to retain sales revenue in-state.
6. Efficiency Over Bureaucracy
• Slash bloated state agencies, duplicate services, and six-figure consultant contracts.
• Implement zero-based budgeting across all departments.
• End lifetime pensions for do-nothing bureaucrats.
7. Energy & Infrastructure Partnerships
• Allow limited private-sector infrastructure development with capped ROI.
• Open clean nuclear, hydropower, and localized solar to competition — creating long-term energy independence and public revenue.
OUR GOAL:
• Eliminate the tax on food.
• Begin the phase-out of NYS income tax.
• Restore local wealth without government handouts.
Other states have done it — so can we.
This isn’t about cutting services. It’s about cutting waste and empowering the people.
